Dual Harmony: Urban Construction and Natural Abstraction

The collaboration of these artists creates a captivating dialogue between the urban environment and the serene beauty of nature.

In the heart of the exhibition lies the exploration of construction and form in painting. The first artist, renowned for capturing the essence of city life, utilizes bold strokes and geometric shapes to convey the dynamism and structure of urban landscapes. The canvas becomes a reflection of the architectural wonders that shape the city of Warsaw, with each brushstroke telling a story of steel, glass, and concrete.

Contrasting this urban narrative is the second artist, whose work delves into the world of natural abstraction. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms found in nature, this artist employs fluid lines and a vibrant color palette to create compositions that evoke the tranquility and complexity of the natural world. The canvas becomes a canvas of exploration, where the viewer is invited to lose themselves in the intricate dance of shapes and colors inspired by the elements of earth, water, and air.

Magda Fokt - she creates installations and objects. She is inspired by landscape, which is a starting point for her search within the realm of abstraction. We think that her paintings  will certainly look classy in Nobu conference spaces.

Magda Fokt, born in1976 in Warsaw.

Magda Fokt comes from Warsaw where she lives and works. She has graduated with honours from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Painting Department, from the studio of professor Rajmund Ziemski. 2109 – earned a PhD degree at the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce. She is a president of the artistic association "Front Sztuki" and co-runs the Kamienica Artystyczna TA3 art gallery.

She works with the use of oil painting techniques, acrylic, collage, relief on paper and canvas. She experiments with going beyond the boundaries of the canvas. She creates installations and objects. She is inspired by landscape, which is a starting point for her search within the realm of abstraction. Over the recent years, she has focused on a particular aspect of landscape where stones and water clash. She pauses to reflect on the way they influence each other, searching for an analogy with human identity, which is affected by the external world. They are two different matters, two different worlds, which clash and at the same time exist in a symbiosis with each other. Varied matters, shapes, and roles they play in nature at the same time complete and exclude each other, which inspires the eternal game and fight. Regardless of the theme, Magda Fokt always has the question of human identity in mind.
